They were saying the same shite all last season and he didn't go anywhere. You can't believe everything you read on the Internet.
How is this starting shite a year early? You have no clue what you are talking about. If the hornets don't get rid of him this year there will be egg all over their faces. He'd be doing the hornets a favor if he asked to be traded publicly. But he is too classy to do so. He knows the hornets are shopping him. He has no reason to force shite or 'try to flee'

So you are mad that He is a pussy and wants to flee, but you acknowledge that he needs to be traded?
You're not one that is big on common sense. Can't stand idiots like you. Son.

Those are two completely separate things. You're putting them together. I'm upset because IMO he didn't play to his potential last year, and I believe a lot of that has to do with the fact that he wants no part of being a hornet.
On the other hand, I acknowledge that if the hornets want anything for him, they need to trade him because otherwise he will flee for NY or LA and leave NOLA with a bag of his own crap.
Just because you don't agree with what I say doesn't make me an idiot. It does make you a close minded prick.

And yes, you upset me so much, I'll probably cry myself to sleep tonight thinking about it

Who are these "sources"? Is this what Paul is saying? Or is this the usual dickhead muckraking media stirring up bullshite?

If the past is any indication, this crap is coming from CP3's marketing agency, headed by LBJ crony Maverick Carter, and CAA power broker World Wide Wes.

I have no idea about his basketball plans, really. But I do know somewhat firsthand that he and Jada have enjoyed living in New Orleans. Now, that may not mean much in the long run. I don't know. I want the drama to be over one way or the other.

I hope this is just a rehash of last year and we can sign him long term somehow. Ultimately, I want to see CP3 stay a Hornets. That said, you're either a Hornet or a self-serving cockbag. Deal with it.

This is true. But the problem is Paul's entourage. They have been in his ear for a while. Nothing positive ever really seems to come from anyone that has WWW in their ear imo.
I want him to stay. I really wish there was some way to keep him. But definitely do not want a disgruntled star on the team that gives half effort.
I appreciate what Paul has done for the team and city of New Orleans. If he ends up leaving, I won't take it personal. It's business. Life will go on. I have faith in Demps to make something happen with this team with Paul or without.

NBA writers in general get a lot of information from agents and they are usually pretty quick to point out when info is sourced from a player or team coach/scout/exec/etc. Chris Broussard in particular gets a lot of information (and misinformation) from LeBron's agents who are now CP3's agents. Based on Broussard's track record he's either making this up or it came from CP3's agents. His Agents have good reason to want CP3 in a big market so I don't think he's making it up. But them wanting him in a big market doesn't mean CP3 wants to go to a big market.
This feels just like last offseason when we were all ready to trade him for a few weeks. Then Demps took control of the situation and everything ended up fine for the most part. I think the good news is that as soon as this rumor picked up steam so did the bidding with Boston unexpectedly throwing in a Rondo package.

We really need the lockout to be lifted so that we Monty, Dell and CP can clear the air.

I agree with you. But obviously now, time is an issue. Paul will be a free agent after the season. We really don't have much time to "convince" Paul that he should stay. Last year was that time. Demps in my opinion did a lot with the little he had to work with, but I am not sure if that was enough to convince Paul to re up long term.
A decision will have to be made one way or the other relatively soon.

Best trade I could come up with involving Rondo. Here goes: Hornets get Rondo and Josh Smith. Celtics get Ariza, Paul, and Marvin Williams

Hawks get Jeff Green, J. Jack, Jermaine O'Neal (who retires). Atlanta gets space and upgrades at 2 positions. Hornets get D, Celts get Paul

I don't like that. Smith would be a nice get, but Rondo is a distributor and doesn't create.
We would be shipping out CP3, Jarrett Jack, and Ariza for Rondo and Smith. That leaves us with:
Rondo
Beli?
Q-Pon (I know some are enamored, but I'm gonna have to see it)
Smith
Okafor
We would no longer be able to slide Jack to the 2. We would be extremely thin at the 3. No backup point (without many options in FA). You would probably have to go after Gilbert Arenas, which I don't see happening. Honestly, I'm not even sold that Rondo is much of an improvement over Jack to justify it.

That is a horrible trade...I don't think the hawks would do it anyway though
