We talked about it a couple of years ago KD for Bi. With the suns getting swept and us likely getting swept. Do the suns do a Bi and fillers for KD trade? I’d expect Larry Nance to be part of the trade.

I don’t really care for an old Kevin Durant

He fits our team a lot better than BI.

While his 3pt shooting would help space the floor way better than the midrange shooting Ingram, he is also a MUCH better defender than BI

people guarded by KD shot 3.8% worse than their season average

people guarded by Herb were -3.2%
by Trey were -5.6%

People guarded by Ingram shot 0.5% better than their season average.

We would need 2 quality C’s for size purposes but KD does fit way better. Zion, Herb, Trey, KD, Claxton? Could flap

An aging KD is soooooo much better than BI its not even funny. I’d do that trade in a heartbeat. You think Lu Dort bothers KD?? Lol come on now.

I think bridges would be more expensive to get than KD.

BI, Nance and Jose would be about the max we could send out.

Phoenix is limited by the second apron, they cannot take back a penny more salary than they’re sending out, so that would limit them a bit also.

I would do the above trade if KD wanted to come here, I would add #21 but nothing else in picks

I'd rather him pull a LeBron and return to his roots (OKC). That is, if OKC would have him back.

Trading for old dudes is a bad idea. Rarely works out.

He wouldn't be coming to "this team" though. He'd be coming to this team minus 2-3 pieces we like.

He was just traded for Bridges+Cam Johnson, among other things.

The Suns probably don't take our calls until we add Trey+Herb and if not both, it'll be Trey+Hawkins+Dyson+picks then figuring out if the salary can even work, because BI for KD doesn't make any sense whatsoever for PHO.

Ultimatly, KD will not want to come here so it's not happening. But for the sake of discussion assuming it was possible, there's probably no scenario where we trade for KD where Trey isn't going back to Phoenix.

Same as my post above, except more.

Trey+Herb is likely a must to start the conversation for Booker.

I don't really see the point of moving BI for a similar player. If I move BI part of the reason is to open up more minutes for Trey.

The only reason Phx moves Booker is if they go all in on a rebuild. I think they have to move KD or Beal and neither bring you a ton because they cost a ton, plus KD is old.

Correct

And Phoenix doesn't have full rights to any of their own 1sts up to like 2030 or something, so there isn't much incentive to rebuild.

KD had a solid season and was traded for a solid haul, I think he'd still get something similar.

I don’t want anything to do with KD. Plus he won’t want to come here.

We gonna have to take on someone else’s misfit toy. I don’t know what his value is right now. But I’m sure it’s not very high and Griff could have got more last year or the year before. We will have to settle for Trae or Murray off Atlanta and I’m to the point where I’m ok with it.

If you're starting rumors go big with Embiid or Giannis to NOLA. Rumor!
