Talks between the two sides never materialized, as ESPN reported, while contenders like the Timberwolves, Cavaliers, Celtics and Lakers are all said to have made calls on Antetokounmpo at this year’s deadline.

I just want us to pick a direction. You can't half arse a rebuild. Either you tear it down and move all 3 of Jones, zion, and Murphy or you don't.

Giannis is a perfect example of someone who comes here to sundown and play as a shell of his former self for a massive payday

We already have Zion doing that because of his ridiculous draft hype..

Lets not do it again

Are we on board to trade Herb for pick 11?

I would be, I think we should cash in on his value. I was pretty disappointed in Herb last year and we could start to build a good young core if you hit on a pick at 11.

If you were a Warriors fan, would you be on board with trading pick 11 for Herb? Doubt it. Maybe if they include Missi plus 2nds, maybe even Bey. But even then, GSW has their sights on a bigger impact player (Butler +11 for Kawhi).

And to match salary, GSW would have to include Moody, who though currently injured, is a good player.

Which players in that 11 range would you want for the Pels? Mara, Yaxel, Morez, Burries..

Giannis Is unhappy in Milwaukee, you think he would be happy here? He’s brought a lot to that franchise they are going to ship him somewhere where he wants to go. He’s going to a big market I would imagine

Well I’m a Pels fan and I wouldn’t trade Herb for the 11th pick.

If we trade Herb we might as well trade everyone. When he isn’t on the court, we suck arse even more than we usually do. Herb is not the kind of guy we need less of. We need more guys like Herb, if we care about winning right now.

The article says he wants Knicks, which again implies he wants the bright lights big market franchise.

Unfortunately, we’re on the don’t call list again.

I do not see Giannis going to another small market team. He was loyal to the Bucks and gave them like 13 seasons (wow does not seem that long).

I am not sure where he will end up, but it is going to be interesting to see /what it takes to get Giannis.

Thats the big question..

Is he often injured or is he unwilling to risk a major injury on a team with no championship hopes?

Bucks organization intentionally sat him out late in season.

He is not washed up if contenders are interested in him.

You going to tell us Luka is washed up too?

With that contract, we better get more than the 11. Herb is a stud but was disengaged last year due to the injury and the shitty start/coach. He could use a change of scenery.

I did say close to washed up

The way he plays and the way his injuries have been piling up he has 2-4 years left as a top level player.

He will be done as a top player before all the assets given up for him have conveyed IMO

That's crazy talk. Maybe he peaked from being otherworldly but washed up is not something I use to describe Giannis and isn't something I'd expect anytime soon.

The injures should be a giant concern but 27 and 10 is pretty far from washed.
