Bronny James/Lebron Pairing in 2024

I know some of y'all are jumping to conclusion and ready to roast me, but I'm not saying the Pels draft Bronny.
With a big jump this year from Bronny, he's starting to move into the lottery conversation. Will LeBron's desire to play with him help or hurt his draft stock?
This is a scenario we've never seen. How do y'all foresee it playing out? And if the Lakers pick is in the lottery, do you think the Pels consider?

I hope we draft Bronny and send him to the Squadron.

This situation will be delicate for sure...
They will end up in an environment that suits them....
I don't honestly think that Bronny will be top tier talent, but the org that understands the magnitude of the situation will position themselves to make it happen.
I'm not sure whats the exact timeline on Vegas.... but Vegas will be in play as Bron will be owner I guess.

He'll be ok at best but be forced to keep him and or continuously over pay him because of his dad.
If i was a team, id want no part of that.
Its probably only going to get worse when Lebron gets an ownership group together and buys a team.

I don't want Lebron to ever sniff the Finals again.
But if he did, the only thing that would make it ok, is if Bronny pulled some JR Smith level shite to make them lose and to see Lebron's face.
That might be worth it.

Supposedly Seattle is a lock but the second team could be Vegas or Mexico City. And no new team until the next CBA and TV deal are in place.

Expansion would take place with 2 new teams tho correct?
Seattle and Vegas make sense.
Throw NOLA and Memphis into the Eastern conference.... would be great.
ORL
MIA
MEMP
NOLA
ATL
CHA

Only one team moves east, which is likely the Wolves being matched with Chicago, Detroit, Milwaukee, and Cleveland.

Trade the Lakers the rights to their 2024 1st round pick back for their 2025 and 2029 1st round picks.... unless 2024 is the double draft. Then just take BPA in 2024.

We won’t know that until the next CBA goes through.
And it still depends on what the date is for us to defer the Lakers’ 24 pick to 25.

You also have to see what star players are available. If you have 2 1sts in 2024 and one is a lottery pick, that might be the last time you'll have draft assets good enough to make a big trade.

If 24 is a double draft, even a shite pick is better than in a normal draft because twice the amount of talent likely declares.

Id draft him just to frick with the nba. Whoever drafts him will have some power. Bron will want to play with his son no doubt. The team that gets Bronny will either get bron for cheap or the team Bron is on will try to trade for Bronny which will give that team leverage to get them to overpay. He will be an ok NBA player but nothing special.

Unless LeBron really falls off in the next season and a half, it looks like he's got some gas in the tank. How many NBA teams are a 40-year-old LeBron James away from being in the mix for a championship? How high of a draft pick are you willing to use on Bronny to get a 40-year-old LeBron? If the Pelicans are picking in the teens, I think it's worth rolling the dice, provided you can get his pop on a cheap deal.

Bronny isn't even the best player on his team. Not saying he isn't good, but he is no where draft conversation, much less lottery conversation. He'd need to grow another 4-5 inches for him to even sniff a shot at getting drafted, which is very possible considering he's still a junior in high school.

But if he's saying Bronny is potentially top 10 based on merit alone and a massive jump he took this season, I'm gonna assume he's a heck of a lot closer to that than not getting drafted at all based on merit alone.

Look at what Austin Rivers has become. I still think he has only really hung around because of his dad.
