his 2nd year in non guaranteed

miller is/was a salary slot, nothing more
Which is what the suggestion for a trade of him for someone like MKG would be for. Miller is a league minimum player making over $7 million.

That’s what the Pels would pay him on a 1 year overpay., not what other teams would offer him for multiple years. I feel like we’re arguing when we don’t really disagree , we just aren’t on the same page in the conversation.

Guess I’m out the loop but why did Minny put RoCo on the block. He was one of the better 3&d players in the league. Is it his new contract or fit on minny?

Minny is a few years from being a contender and RoCo could fetch a good price by trading him to a contender

except he’s exactly the kind of player every contender wants, on the kind of contract that eases team building. I suspect his name comes up a lot just because he’s tradeable not because he’s available

they need to bite the bullet and move Wiggins

He’s 29. You want him now, not in a few years. His contract will be up before Minny contends

Marcus Morris would be a really nice pickup

roco has two more years on his deal.
if MIN isn’t contending two years from now they may as well say bye bye to towns.

their new GM is Rojas from Houston, we interviewed him. I have to believe that he understands how valuable Covington is, and the offers he will get will bear that out. I’ll stand by my contention that it will take an overpay to get him out of MIN

RoCo has a good contract but I’d be careful on how much to give up for him.

He’s a limited ball handler and finisher.

Is is one of the best defenders in the league and an excellent 3 pt shooter. He is the true definition of a 3 & D wing/forward.

You are acting like forwards that can handle the ball and finish grow on trees. He would play a role similar to Danny Green in L.A.

I’m cool with moving Jah, Darius, Frank, and some seconds, but I don’t wanna go hog wild. I want to see what we have and how they grow.

Wouldn’t be surprised if we moved Moore too

that’s all they’ll trade if they even do anything.
only other guy even moveable is Moore

everyone else is just about guaranteed to be here next year except maybe favors. They can cobble together a pretty decent outgoing salary if the right guy comes available

Moore has played so well and has been a stabilizing force off of the bench. I’m not opposed to it, but it has to bring back a nice piece.

Everyone will want RoCo. There’s gonna be a bidding war, and we should not be in a bidding war for a veteran

covington has a complete game. And hes not old.

If hes under contract 2020-2021 i would do it. For next season its reasonable to think playoff.

I have no idea what it would take.

I just read an Athletic article naming out players that should be targeted, one I completely forgot about that would fit under Miller's salary, and would be a great fit.

Nemanja Bjelica

6'10, plays the 4 and small ball 5, hits the 3 at 41%, and is under contract for 7.5 mil next year.

Nemanja Bjelica, Sacramento – I’ve heard no chatter about Bjelica, and frankly I’m surprised. He’s a nice piece for a lot of teams – especially Boston or the Clippers – because he can stretch the floor (41.7 percent from 3), handle the ball a little, and play as a legit 4 or even a small-ball 5. He’s one of Sacramento’s best payers, but the Kings have a frontcourt logjam with Harrison Barnes, Marvin Bagley and Richaun Holmes, and Bjelica is the oldest player on the rebuilding Kings at 31.

He’s not a rental either – Bjelica is under contract for next season at a very affordable $7.15 million, with the added benefit of a June 29 guarantee date in case things go horribly wrong.

Finally, with Bjelica only making $6.75 million, this is one of the few contracts that is easily matched by virtually every team in the league. Even Boston can get there relatively easily, piecing together the contracts of little-used Semi Ojeleye and all-but-forgotten Vincent Poirier. I’m surprised he isn’t generating more conversation.
