Gotta offload those Bucks picks asap

Why?

In 4 years Milwaukee wont be what they are in 2023. Middleton is looking washed, Lopez is nearing the end of his career, Dame will be at the end of his, and they have nothing left to add to that team.

Those picks still look good imo, and probably even better because they traded away their only tradeable assets

So many other variables involved just to say because one roster will be cheaper that you'd prefer them. On the court pels in 5 vs that team.

Why do we keep having this conversation? Players are overpaid in the NBA literally all the time. Ingram is still better than any fa we can court, and with the cap going up his contract will look great when the new TV deal hits.

Find me a player of BI's level on his 3rd contract that is not overpaid. They all get a max.

Jerami Grant, Deandre Ayton, and Anfernee Simons will make more than 84 million this year. none have made an allstar team

I am not a fan of his, but Shamit makes a good point here:

I don't think y'all understand how much it pains me to watch Milwaukee, another small market team, go all in over and over again despite never having any real blue chip assets

Good for them. I bet winning is addicting

okay I’ll take the team with more cap flexibility and a little worse than the overpaid luxury taxed team that hovers around .500 every year at best. Better?

You can disagree with me but I think my point is valid

Right, they have overpay issues that are being completely ignored while our fans are already complaining about a BI max...but ignoring that Jerami freaking Grant got 5/180 or some shite.

The problem we have is we don’t have any bad salary to trade.

If we had say Ben Simmons on this team, Griff would have flipped him with picks in a heartbeat for Dame. We just don’t have that flexibility.

I do agree, would have loved for us to get in on the Dame sweepstakes. Looking at it now, it seems they really wanted Ayton, so I don't think we could have gotten it done.

You know how easy it would be to free up space right?

This is the tough part. Pels are a 50 plus win team with our roster constructed as is. Our two stars can't stay on the court. I pray this is the one fricking year we can stay healthy, but we've already had a fricking injury to one of our top players.

Remove the pels curse and this isn't even a conversation.

They have fricking Giannis(for now) so of course they're going to go all in more than we would.

I understand the frustration but Milwaukee also had Gannis, a MVP top 5 player in the league who is usually always healthy. They have to capitalize. New Orleans on the other hand doesn’t know which Zion they will get and pray to god they can get him and or BI to play more than 40 games

The more I think about it, the more I see a world where neither Giannis or Lillard are there in 2027 when our next (not counting the 25) pick from them is if I recall correctly.

Can we bring Jrue home for one last ride?

Only good news here is that Dame has been banged up the last few years, and he isn't getting any younger.

The state of the franchise is tied to Zion's health regardless. Nothing else really matters.

Both great ball handlers desperately searching for their first ring in their mid 30's.
