I don’t want to trade BI, even if that would make us better on paper for the next 2 years.

Settle down Fox. I’m a huge Durant guy, but he had a good organization give DeAndre Jordan good money and they dumped Jarrett Allen because of it.

Let Dinwiddie walk, traded for his guy Harden.

And Harden tanked the season.

Let’s let BI keep developing. He’s got 10 good years left in him.

Durant is 33 and BI is 24. Durant is great but he is out of this prime. BI is just entering into to it. BI could conceivably be a better player than current Durant in the next 2 years and he still wouldn’t have peaked.

No chance. We would be contenders for next 5 years with Durant.

definitely not out of his prime. He probably should be, given his age and the achilles injury.

BI showed more defense in the playoffs than KD ever has. If he improves on D we will be contenders. Herb and Jose are rubbing off on the rest of the team.

So all of you think that if we swapped BI for Durant, we would be worse off over the next 5 years. That’s laughable.

Add in everything else it would cost to make this trade, yes we would be worse off

Ok on the tail end of his prime then.

Nah break even though yeah. Maybe next two years be better. then 3rd year about the same and last two years worse off. Age is undefeated and the best bet is that Durant eventually declines while BI continues improving as he has every year he's been in the league.

maybe you never watched Kevin Durant before.

and no i dont' want to do this trade, and yes i know that we would be better if a healthy KD played for us the next few years.

TBH Ingram played better than Durant in the playoffs this season.

I can't trust kd to stay healthy at this point. Too many leg issues for me

I love BI, but that’s objectively false. Durant has been a good to very good to damn near elite in Golden State) defender.

BI can get to that same level. And likely will.

B.I. is my favorite Pel so it makes it easy for me to pretend that I wouldn't like to see what Durant would do the next three years.
