No, it really isn't.

Dude just said he'd want the coach gone after a 61-21 season.

Is that what our record would be? It feels like we'd max out at 50 wins if everything starts clicking

He specifically added the qualifier that we win out, making it a moronic statement.

That's probably a realistic ceiling for this year. That would mean going 26-11 down the stretch.

I just didn't do the math. like I said it feels like we're further behind than we are, we practically fired the coach last week because the season was over.

First 3 game win streak since last March. I'd have to see a little more to change my mind.

ETA: the near future is looking decent, though. Phoenix has a very tough next 5 games.

You're the reason why he is still here

He's also the reason Holiday is still out injured. If he were a real fan he'd post about our improbable championship run this year.

You know, though, if we're fair we have to acknowledge that Monty's been doing a good job lately. And I'm including his in game moves.

I think it's important for us to give credit where it's due, otherwise we're nothing more than a fickle mob. If things keep going the way they're going now, we may have found our Scott Brooks. And while that may sound a bit negative, it sounds better to me than Avery Johnson.

Sounds like Pelicans Talk, Saints Talk, Tiger Rant.

No doubt about that.

I think it can be attributed to him having vets who know what's expected of them and aren't lost. It allows for him to actually make changes with proven commodities

When AD returns and the team improves another full level, which it should with a great player like AD, then I'll be on the MOnty bandwagon.

No. I'm done with Monty. With that said, he's handled the roster very very well since AD went down.

Monty certainly deserves a ton of credit for the performances post ASB. And he has improved some in game. I am still baffled at times, but a better bench makes him look a lot better.

The one thing i haven't gotten all year is the reluctance to ride Asik and defense. We got way too much Steamer, Ajinca, and Aminu for "defense" last year. We heard about needing a defensive 5. Now he often goes with Anderson for too long down the stretch when the situation doesn't require him to do do.

I typically advocate small ball/stretch bigs, but even I have called for more Asik more often. Is Asik hurt? Or is it just Monty doing Monty things?
