I Think Gabe at $11M is actually good especially since he won’t have to create as much off the dribble in Laker Land. He’s just an A plus quality gritty player, that can create off the dribble a bit, defend other guards, and get hot from 3 at times. I don’t see a huge downside of paying him $11M a year tbh.
I’m guessing he will take over the Schroeder role. And he is getting the MLE money that they were hoping to pay Bruce Brown until the Pacers gave him a huge bag.
