Well he can, but he can because he only plays 1 side of the floor.

Makes it much easier to go more minutes when you give no effort on the defensive side of the floor. That's what we saw last season, and we'll see it again this season.

He’s almost 40 and he hasn’t been able to play more than 70 games since 2017.

No way he can keep up these minutes through the season

He played 37 mpg last season, but that workload will almost certainly lead to him missing a chunk of games like he did last year.

Exactly, and he missed 26 games last year. If he misses 26 this year what do you think their record is in those games?

maybe 6-20 cuz we know AD cant carry a team

I think they’re going to do decently to start but as they wear down they’ll be awful

They haven’t looked good but their first 7 games are against some of the likely top contenders in the west.

Warriors, Clip Show, Blazers, Nuggets (twice), Wolves, us.

The Blazers are supposedly the worst team of that bunch and look pretty good.

The Nuggets looked bad the other night with only Jokic really doing decently but the Lakers don’t have great defense against bigs and only three people capable of scoring (LBJ, Toni, Lonnie Walker).

And the “easy” games they are supposed to have, against the Jazz twice, don’t look nearly as easy as expected.

They can realistically go about 2-13 or so out of their first 15 at this rate.

And if they go 2-13 they are gonna pack it in. LeBoo is a front running bitch. Whenever there is adversity, he folds. Toní is Toní

Bev and Westbrook have heart but they look washed.

Pundits are claiming the Lake Show aren’t making potential trades until at least Thanksgiving so they can see who is doing worse than expected.

Makes me think of a scene from Rounders about poker sharks. “If you play for 30 minutes and can’t figure out who the chump at the table is, that means you’re the chump.”

ESPN really made a highlight reel of Westbrooks misses last night. I didn't see it online but it is in the ESPN app under NBA.

Westbrook didn’t help matters at all for them last night but that team’s issues go far deeper than him.

As we keep saying, they scrapped a lot of their shooting and other things that made the team work in the past two years. Westbrook’s a symptom of the shite they have done like moving KCP and Kuzma then letting Caruso walk.

They get Buddy Hield instead of Westbrook and they may not be hugely better but they don’t blow a ton of assets on someone who doesn’t help them and can’t be dumped easily.

22% from 3 doesn't help the cause either..

Wish some people would do their homework before coming to class.

Let's put this in quotations as well....

"playing against the top 2 teams in the West the first 2 games did not help as well"...

I'll put an ** next to that as well, GS is not going to be fricked with for another title. They should make that run at 5 in 9 years, shooting league and they have the perfect balance of youth and experience.

Clippers will Clipper... although their depth and timely shooting was better last night, that was the difference in a close ball game.. nice to bring a guy like Kennard off the bench who led the league in 3P% last year... to knock down some clutch shots to withold leads.

Reg season really doesn't start until Christmas Day. Between now and then is like pre-season. Everything is playing out thus far as it should in the NBA. Which is great for NBA betters... hope everyone is cashing in
