Lakers still +134 not to make the playoffs on fanduel.
Also they are 2/2 in not covering the point spread which has been my preferred way to bet them.

Let’s hope it is a Top 2 pick like the Eagles getting for punking the NEW Aints

Over/under for games played by Street Clothes this year?

Lakers are the only 0-2 team in the West ...

Blazers are looking better than I expected so Lakers going 0-3 is a legit possibility.

Serious question for those that watched the game, how impressive were the Clips? I keep reading how they are “favorites” in the West but looking at their roster it just feels the aging superstar route might blow up in their faces. Kwahi is already on a mins restriction.
George, Kwahi, and Wall are all at the end of their athletic prime on the wrong side of 30.

LeGM playing 37 minutes in a loss is wonderful.
No way he can keep up these minutes through the season

They are DEEEEP. Their depth will help out with their aging superstars. They're contenders for sure.

They were not impressive at all, but it was game 1. I don't see them committing that many turnovers moving forward, but they definitely looked like they had some flaws. It's just too small of a sample to glean much.

Are they, though? They look deep with mediocre, aging players, but I don't see a scary bench unit. Meanwhile, John Wall is over here looking like ConspiracYe:

Understood so I guess it will depend on the availability of their 3 stars to determine if they are playing for the top seed or just in the general playoff mix.
Kawhi starting the season on a min restriction seems a little concerning.

Not only was it game 1, but they don’t have a ton of chemistry at the moment because Kawhi and PG13 missed so much time last season.
The talent is there but pulling it together could take a while.

Wall looked good last night.
And yes. They are deep. If Nance was on their team, you'd say the same thing about him.

They have depth, but throwing in caps lock and extra Es, makes it seem like you're implying their depth is unheard of. They have a solid bench, but I just don't see it making a huge difference.
I will say that playing their first game against the Lakers bench probably helped them stand out a bit.

I mean, they made the play in without George and Kawhi last year. They returned damn near every one of those players.
Wall - Kinard - Batum - Covington - Morris/Leonard - Mann - Coffee
All bench players.

i dont think they are the DEEPEST TEAM EVAR but...it does make a huge difference
