I don’t remember anyone saying that. I remember people saying they thought he could do it because he’s done it some in the past, compared to someone like Powell who has never done it. PG has always seemed like a more natural position for him and when Zion comes back, we know he can play the secondary ball handler role during stretches in favor of point Zion. I think most people on here are not super excited for CJ, but can envision his fit on the team and would be open to him for the right cost.

Raja Bell said CJ is an aging , expensive, short, with back issues.. his cohost said he is not great at defense.

I like Raja as a person, but "The Real Ones" is hands down the WORST so-called "analyst" NBA podcast. It's basically two egos loving to hear the sound of their own voice, Logan, who consistently offers the most confidently delivered uniformed takes, and Raja reminding everyone his hot takes are better than yours because he was a player and worked in a token position for Griff.
Only thing I appreciate with the show is when Raja talks about stuff pertaining to behind the scenes things affecting players and situations fans dont think about, like Harden's partying likely be a contributing factor to why he gasses out at the end of seasons.
But I never get the sense either of them really challenge their gut takes or do much research when analyzing the league and players

my ideal trade would be to get CJ for Sato/Hart, send Larry Nance to Charlotte, we get PJ Washington.
You do that, or really any move where it's CJ for Hart/Sato, our roster is pretty much set for next year b/c we we'll be right under the tax and we should have 13-14 players on the roster when the offseason starts.

I feel sorry for Embid. Maybe he'll win a ring in the next 2 years to make up for it, but he's about to have a lot more dead weight to carry as Harden ages poorly on his next mega deal.
