No, Knicks fans hate him, because he's sucked this year. NYC is a great place when people love you and a terrible place to play when they don't. I am not surprised he wants out.

And playing for Thibs is similar to what I said last year about SVG: players are fine with an a-hole coach if they are winning. When you are losing, though, we'll ... losing sucks enough without your coach being an a-hole.

Julius Randle is dog shite, yes. Compare it to his salary, double dog shite.

He's just saying that financially we could, not that there is any talk of us getting into it.

He is the primary player on the biggest market team in the league and is the 49th highest paid player. He is carrying a weak arse team that is 4 games out of the 7th spot in the East. Yeah, he is struggling, and it is step down from last year. But that is a harsh critique..

I just saw Randle stopped following the Knicks. Social media follows usually mean nothing, but the Knicks were another team reportedly interested in Fox.

Randle + Picks vs. Hart + Picks, I think the Knicks beat the Pels in that situation depending on the picks.
With Randle's contract?

But the interesting part is that the Nets want to dump Harden and not Kyrie.

Because, earlier in the season, the potential Kyrie for Simmons trade was discussed a lot. I would guess that Harden is threatening to sit out again.

Probably has to do with Harden walking after the season than anything else.

If Harden leaves Durant he’s a fricking moron.

KD went from guaranteed to win more titles to play with Harden and Kyrie.

It's setting up to be an all time awful sports decision.

If he is traded to Philly, Philly becomes the overwhelming favorite to win a title this year.

Idk Simmons, KD, and Irving is nice but not sure if Kyrie will have to sit out of some playoffs games because of the vaccine shite

Irving is younger and better, harden is going to fall off a cliff sooner than later.
impossible to take a side as I hate both players equally but you choose Irving over harden 10/10

also, if Durant wanted harden over Irving then that’s what would happen

In regards to the TPE, keep in mind that the Pels have 365 days to use it from the time it was created. So if they don’t use it by the deadline they’ll still have a week or so into FA this summer to take advantage of it. They could in theory take on a useful player another team is looking to dump in July in order to sign someone else in FA.

Man I just looked at CJ's stats this year and wtf who would want him with his contract? He's clearly declining.

He’s probably viewed as a neutral at best asset around the league based on his contract and age, but is more valuable to POR than anyone else. He’s not first on my list, but he does fit a lot of what we need. I look at it more as, if Griffin is dead set on making a move, we could do a lot worse than Hart+Sato+Hayes+Bucks 1st for CJ. You can overpay his salary a little and hope he can guide the ship a little for the next couple years and then hopefully resign him to a much lower number as he ages out of the core.

Reading some Portland boards and they can't believe some of the offers Pels people are putting out there for CJ.
quote:

Are those 2 FRP? Because I think that is a huge overpay for NO. I think a team could move much less and get Eric Gordon who provides 75% of what CJ does.
quote:

Hart and 2 FRP would be an amazing return for CJ. I wont believe it until I see it.
quote:

I'd take the 2024 and the 2027 picks and I'd run like hell if they actually want to trade two picks for CJ.

quote:

IMO no one is trading two 1sts for CJ, even late ones, that's a pipe dream

Yet, over here people are ready to unload the whole clip for the guy.

It's just crazy that Powell cost almost nothing (and makes a lot less than CJ) and isn't THAT much worse than CJ.
