Not saying Westbrook isn't the worst possible fit, but DeRozan would not be ideal with their lineup. DeRozan is good at what LeBron is good at. He would spend half his time standing around watching LeBron work.

So much hubris - DeRozan would not be having an All NBA season with the Lakers. It's not shocking Westbrook is having his most inefficient season ever playing with LeBrick, who is sucking the air out of the ball more than ever to win a scoring title.
It's also funny how this conversation is missing the obvious factor that DeRrozan probably wasn't going to give as big of a hometown discount as the Lakers were willing to give.

better midrange shooter and overall shooter
not the worst defender in the league
he may not be the ideal fit, but he is better.

There is a limit to the kind of shite someone will believe.

I was on Lakers reddit this evening and saw this from a Laker fan talking about who to root for in playoffs. Very interesting answer:
"Bucks and Chicago in the East.
Mavs, Nuggets, and Pelicans in the West.

Another Laker take on playoffs. There wasn't a negative comment about the Pels:
"Bulls winning would be neat, just so many players I enjoy on their team (Caruso, Lonzo, Lavine, DeRozan).
Other than that, I wouldn't mind the Bucks repeating or the Mavs/Pels/Raptors winning."
