Obviously there were the usual suspects: Radiohead, sigur Ros, Mogwai, godspeed, etc., but I’ll throw out a few others...
Low’s - I Can Live in Hope was a go to album for me and especially the following track: Low - Words one of my favorite winter albums.
Bedhead - The Present
Yo la tengo - Everyday
Slowreader - Politics, music & drugs
Granddaddy - Why Took Your Advice (all of granddaddy, either stoned or not, is highly recommended)
I’ll add another granddaddy for fun Grandaddy- Jed’s other Poem (so good)
Elliott Smith - Pitseleh
The Black Heart Procession - your church is red
Rowland S Howard - Breakdown (and then...)
Slowblow - Aim for a Smile
Smog - Say Valley Maker

pretty hokey, but i had NORML's "hempilation" compilation CD freshman year. my favorite track was 311's cover of "who's got the herb"
but like someone else said, any music i listened to certainly qualifies. aphex twin, grateful dead, tricky, portishead, phish, future sound of london...
often the genre blurs with that of "i'm in college and advocate taking acid regularly".

I wasn't big into imbibing, but I was in college when Afroman's "Because I Got High" dropped and associate it with everyone I know who did.
