Why doesn't blink 182 catch hate like other groups

their fan boys are usually soy boys or people who have no taste in music. Nickleback gets hated on for using a few cords, why not Blink? What's the love obsession that I'm missing here?

Blink never takes themselves seriously. Most things are “cringe” because it’s silly while trying to be serious. Blink 182 never once tried to be serious. It’s just meant to be goofy fun because they’re part of the joke. They were essentially a parody, though not quite as obvious about it as, say, Bowling for Soup.
