2. His pop songs are rap-like enough to make people feel good enough about themselves that they can listen to rap.

Not a big fan. From the interviews I've seen and the way he carries himself, he just seems like one of those guys that is his own biggest fan.

I'm indifferent to their music, mainly because I really don't listen to it. From what I understand, him and Ryan Lewis earned what they have by starting from the ground up creating everything they do. They're not some Los Angeles or NYC puppets that just say and do what others create and push on them. I can respect them for that.
