Probably one of the great bluegrass families like the McCourys.

Granted, my knowledge of music is mostly in R&b/Soul music.
Fair enough.

Honorable mention: The Isley Brothers, The Debarges
Certainly talented, but how about the Nevilles?
There have been a number of prominent rock families, often in the same bands - the Wilsons/Loves of the Beach Boys, the Carpenters, the Wilson sisters (no relation to the Beach Boys) of Heart, the Davies brothers of the Kinks, the Fogertys of CCR, the Mothersboroughs and Casales of Devo and the Porcaros of Toto, just to name a few.
From a pure talent standpoint it is hard to argue against the Beach Boys' Wilsons (although Brian stands head and shoulders and raises the average).
From a "numerous" standpoint, there were at least 2 generations of Porcaros and several siblings/cousins served different stints in Toto - I typically refer to Toto as the "Porcaro family musical project."

Jimmie and SRV
Alex and Eddie
Duane and Gregg
The Staples family
The Scruggs family
Derek and Butch Trucks
The Nevilles
Brandford and Wynton
I'm not sure whether to include the Van Zants or not, since they were all vocalists and not musicians.

Greggs son Devon is solid as well. He and Dickey Betts’ son, Duane, are currently doing a tour together as well. While not directly related to Gregg and Duane, Butch trucks also has some high talent nephews in Derek and Duane Trucks.
Not my cup of tea but The Osmunds come to mind along with the Carpenters and Isley Brothers.

Let's not forget the Cyrus family.

Gotta give The Cowsills some love along with the Peterson sisters from The Bangles.

i think it was Jermaine actually. The oldest one.
You're half right. Sigmund Esco "Jackie" Jackson is the oldest son. Jermaine had solo successes with "Daddy's Home", "Dynamite", and "Let's Get Serious," the last two of which were after his brothers left him at Motown. Jermaine is also father to Jermajesty.

They'd get fired, that's what.
