I would have loved to see Chris Cornell live. Soundgarden,
Saw Soundgarden, It was great.
I really wish I had seen Led Zeppelin and Alice in Chains.
ETA: Queen.
I would have loved to have seen the Beatles, Cream and Hendrix live but they were before my concert going time so I won't include them.

Nirvana - they played at UNO in late 93, but I had a conflict and figured I would just see them at Lollapalooza '94. Sadly, Kurt Cobain had other plans
David Bowie - I think he played at the Superdome when I was in high school, don't think he came anywhere near New Orleans after that. I would have loved to see that tour he did with Nine Inch Nails in 95/96.
Prince - He played in Biloxi when I was living there in the early 2000s. Don't know why I didn't go. I don't even think the show sold out.

Luckily, I got to see him at HOB. He did not disappoint.

Same. A group of friends in college were going to see them, and I passed on the opportunity for some reason. Don't remember why, because I loved their debut album at the time, and still do.

I saw Soundgarden and Cornell at House of Blues right after he came out with his solo album. Talent as a songwriter and vocalist was amazing.
Another post mentioned STP. I saw them at Biloxi Coliseum after Purple was released. They opened with Vaseline. Very tight as a band and great stage presence.
Stevie Ray Vaughn would be someone I wish I would've saw. Guy was amazing. Led Zeppelin too.

I had tickets to see Stevie Ray Vaughan in Kansas City in 1990. It was the next show scheduled after the Alpine Valley shows.

Missed out on seeing Albert Collins at the Baton Rouge Blues Festival. He was dead within the year.
Stevie Ray Vaughan played several times at the Chimes in the early '80's, but I never saw him. Albert King played at a joint called The Rainbow Lounge that was on Florida Boulevard, but I was too young to enter. We won't get in to the bands I missed at The Kingfish because I was underage. B.B. King used to play BR quite often and I saw him not once.
A friend invited to see Michael Jackson at the Centroplex, but I declined the offer because I really didn't (and still don't) like his music. Regardless, I could have at least said "I saw him in Baton Rouge." Prince made the Baton Rouge circuit as well. That was a cool show I missed.
I missed out on seeing Pink Floyd several times when they came to BR, and would have liked to see The Who with Keith Moon (I've seen them twice with Kenny Jones) when they played BR in the mid '70's, and I wish I had gone to see Elvis when he played at LSU July 2, 1976.
Waylon and Willie used to have a big outlaw country festival that made several stops at the Baton Rouge Fairgrounds during its tenure that I wish I had attended at least once.

I saw this band at the Bayou on Chimes Street, but don't remember the year. The show was a part of the Beaux's Arts Ball that occurred around Halloween.

Was only 7 when Jerry Garcia passed. So close yet so far to have been able to have seen a real dead show.
