Pretty sure there’s plenty of “good” bands we all agree were revolutionary in what they did and talented. I’d venture to say 99% of people who have played music agree the Beatles and Zeppelin are talented, most would call them great. But I doubt you’d find a lot of bands that everyone agrees is their cup of tea

I can't recall anyone here saying they didn't like Rush. Now of course now that I've said that twenty people will suddenly show up claiming to hate Rush.

I guess I’m confused on the point of the thread.
Good as in the music is liked by everyone? Or good as in we all agree they are good at playing music? I think Metallica is good at what they do but I don’t enjoy their music. If that makes sense
