I’ve been debating hard about going to Nashville next Friday to catch this. I can get a lower bowl ticket for under $90. I don’t really know much about Lamb. What’s their best songs?

Ashes of the Wake is their best album. Everything sounds pretty much the same after that.

Lamb of God is amazing live. You have to go to this show. They have been opening with Memento Mori in the last few years. Check out some Youtube footage of them opening with this.

LoG destroys everyone they play with.
That's all I'm gonna say....

Lamb of God is amazing live. I would go just to see them, but to have Pantera with it is just awesome. I'm jealous this show isn't coming to Louisiana.

Can't be surprised though. NOLA is a wasteland of rock concerts these days.

You can expect a lot of this New Colossal Hate

Phil has to make a New Orleans show happen. Hopefully they will schedule some more shows during the summer/fall when they are playing with Metallica on those Fridays.

So many brutal glorious songs but... Now you've got something to die for

I wish I had gone to their show last year in Houston at the woodlands pavilion. Heard it was a great show

Down has been working on new music recently. I think it's more likely we get a show from them than Pantera.

Lamb Of God’s ‘Sacrament’ is terrific! They blew the roof off the Cajundome last year on the Megadeth tour. Was my first time seeing them live and wasn’t a big fan at that time. Very impressive, great show, great energy. Go see’em!

I’ll probably go. I’m gonna wait til next Friday to buy a ticket. Gonna pay bills this week. I’ll update this thread with a review and pictures.

I saw LoG a handful of times a while ago now. They're always good live. I agree with the poster who said their best album is Ashes of the Wake. As the Palaces Burn has some good ones on it, too. I haven't listened to much of their later stuff.
As far as "Pantera"......I couldn't do it. I just don't think there would ever be a way that if all four were living they would be together now. I just don't feel right about Phil and Rex forming a band under the Pantera name for anything more than maybe a one-off song or two. Personally, I just don't like it.

True. This band was never exist again as long as Vinnie was alive.

Whoever is running Dime and Vinnie's estates is behind this. Its an easy payoff for them because they don't have to go on the road and Phil is still passionate about it. I've seen some of these tribute acts lately and they were all great. It keeps the band's music alive with at least some of the people who made it. I would prefer they use a different name than just Pantera but I would still go see them if they came around here.

If LoG plays some of their old stuff it's sure to be fun, their new stuff is good but is pretty much rehashed old stuff.

Pantera and Lamb of God kicked arse in The Woodlands last year. Go to the show.

I just realized that Zakk Wylde is the guitarist for this iteration of Pantera. That’s awesome.

I was working just north of Nashville until a few weeks ago. I was intending to go to the show if I was still there but no such luck.
A couple of weeks after I left Tennessee though I wound up up here in Grand Rapids. Lo and behold, they’re playing here in two weeks. I’d better still be here.
To answer your question, same as everyone else said, Lamb Of God is AMAZING live. Saw them at the Tabernacle in Atlanta in 2016. Incredible show.
I haven’t seen this version of Pantera yet. Glad I saw them in ‘95. I’m sure they’ll be good with Charlie and Zakk.
