Johnny Winter - Winter and Derringer
Humble Pie - Marriott and Frampton
Stones - Keith and pick one, my favorite is Mick Jones
Aerosmith - Perry and Whitford - Whitford did a lot at least early (70s) but I haven't seen them in decades.

Perhaps. But the supposedly non-lead player probably plays 3 of their top 10 solos, so it's hard to say.
Megadeth is clearly a great band with 2 leads.
I'd say the correct answer is Maiden circa the albums from 1983-1988. Murray and Smith were just perfect.

I made a mistake above. It was Duane Allman and Dickey Betts on guitars for the Allman Brothers. Greg played B-3 organ. My mistake.

I think they're underrated in the two lead category - whether it was Leadon/Felder or Walsh/Felder.

You sure about this? You have me second guessing myself, but I was certain that Hetfield and Hammett would alternate lead and rhythm throughout songs. Yes Hammett is the "lead guitarist" by title, but I thought that was in title only.

I wouldn't go so far as to say they alternate, but Hetfield plays plenty of great ones. The 1st solo on Master of Puppets and the 2nd solo on To Live is to Die come to mind.
