This is one is Leadon/Felder - great dual solos at the end. One of my top five Eagles songs:
Too Many Hands

Second lead in that song is Frey (RIP) not Leadon.

Frey was an underrated multi-instrumentalist. He had to play a lot of lead guitar, at least live, before Felder joined the band. He could play - passably - everything on the stage except drums.

Man, just went and watched some Eagles concert footage from the 70's. I forget sometimes how talented they were, and how versatile that band really was. They could perform in several genre's.

They are often derided as they are one of the exemplars of "corporate rock" of the late 70s, but they were very hard on themselves. They were perfectionists. They were as "talented" as we use that term as any band you can name. When you consider all 7 gentlemen that were officially "Eagles" - all 7 sang lead vocals on a hit song at some point. Leadon was one of the better working banjo players at the time. Felder could play anything with strings and in his younger years taught a young kid named Tom Petty how to play guitar. About the weakest thing about the band, musically, was Henley's drumming.

But, as a mainstream rock band that defined the L.A. sound in the 1970s, I still enjoy their songs over 40 years after starting to listen to them.
