Sigh

I never said radiohead hasn't taken chance on an artistic level.

I mean BALLS. Aggressive rip your nuts off hard rock.

I never could get into Radiohead. I always found the majority of their sounds too wondering. Almost atmospheric with no backbone or lifeline to pull you through the song. I don't hate them, they just bore me.

The flip side, one of my friends hated Tool for a similar reason. He said all their songs were boring to him.

not even this song?

I can't get past the singer's voice. The band members are talented in their respective genre though.

Wow really?

I think he's got one of the best voices in rock in the last 20 years.

But as far as getting past a voice, I can't stand the hold steady in this regard. His voice is just awful to me. The band is great however.

Radiohead is one of my favorite bands, and fit the same genre.

See, I love TOOL, but can't get into Radiohead to save my life...

I think both have their cult followings and have contributed to music over the past 20yrs.

To each his own

I love both Radiohead and TOOL

To each their own indeed.

Doc, Maynards voice is arguably the best of the last 20 years.

Ditto. Bummer. I doubt the wife and I can finagle a way to make that happen.

Toyota Center has to be the absolute worst vendor on the planet... The way they release tickets is mind numbing.

I'm waiting on a friend of a friend who is a broker to give me a call to tell me what he's got...

I managed to upgrade my tickets because of their screwy system. I scored some at 10:10, but kept checking every 15 minutes to see if I could do better.

They had seats showing up randomly at first. I was using 3 browsers and getting drastically different results. They would come up empty more often than not. Then from 11:00 on nothing. Then at 2:30 more showed up, including a pair of floor seats I passed on. I guess they are trickling them out.

Yup and Puscifer is independent of any record label... He does TOOL, makes great music, and uses that to fund his two other projects (Caduceus Wines and Puscifer)

Did you score your tickets? I looked at Toyota Center's FB page this morning and they confirmed it sold out yesterday but the released a few more iffy sections after working with the tour management. Those sold out last night.
