I saw his interview with Rogan and it made me like the guy. He made some mistakes when young and turned his life around. Seems like a likeable guy.

I like his stuff. I’m pretty sure he is open about how you shouldn’t allow yourself to become over weight like he is. I think he just got addicted to certain drugs and didn’t care if he lived or died for a while.

He’s a novelty. If he was just some random fat guy with no face Tats or back story he wouldn’t be popular at all. It’s all of that plus the only fans wife etc. it’s all novelty.

I’ve always tried to see the good in every kind of music and I respect him for having talent and drive to get where he’s at, but his music falls under essentially trailer park anthem (I’m always an outsider, facing my demons, I’m a tough survivor, etc) and it all just kind of makes me cringe on the inside.
