I think you misunderstood what I said. In a vacuum, it's a legendary album. I don't enjoy it as much as I do other Nirvana albums, because you hear music from it everywhere. Some albums are overplayed simply because they are really good, and that is one of them.

Underrated? He isn't underrated. He just died young. He's one of the more influential guitarist ever.
Joe Pass...he's underrated.

Oh my. I'm assuming you are just too young to know better. YHF is a masterpiece.

60s - anything by the Doors. I actually still think some of their 1st album is OK, but after that they were garbage.
70s - Led Zep II, anything by Deep Purple
80s - Nothing's Shocking

Lol at that quote from Berta Lovejoy about Rugrats
"Unfortunately I wasn't a 90s kid, but a kid in the 80s, so I didn't get to see this show. From what I've heard though it is offensive to women as the protagonists were male and the antagonist was female, clearly perpetuating the stereotype of male superiority. I would have boycotted this show!"

quote:Made In Japan by Deep Purple is one of the great live albums of all-time. Their studio albums were pretty damn good as well. In Rock, Fireball, Machine Head, Stormbringer and Burn are all fantastic. I don't think Who Do We Think We Are or Come Taste The Band were quite as good, but they were certainly better than some of the crap from Kiss.

Fair point, that last one. Sorry, but I hated everything Deep Purple ever did - but they were still better than that Band Who Will Not Be Named. I think that was selective amnesia on my part.
