Chris Isaak - Wicked Game. I thought it was one of Roy Orbison's songs. The voices are so similar.

I was shocked when I found out Hungry Heart was Springsteen. It's so much better than his usual tunes AND it doesn't sound like him singing.

He wrote it for the Ramones at Joey's request, but his manager wouldn't let him give it away... after he had already given away Fire (Pointer Sisters) and Because the Night (Patti Smith) and they became big hits for those artists..

Until recently...I swore that "Lonely People" was Crosby Stills and Nash...then I found out it was by America.

America has a lot of songs I didn't know were theirs. I've always dismissed them because every time I hear "Horse With No Name" I want to punch a puppy in the face.

Always thought "Come and Get It" was the Beatles not Badfinger.

Of course McCartney had his fingers all over it

Holy shite, until just now so did I. I looked it up and Bowie did write it but Mott the Hoople performed it.

Bowie performed the song a few times. I seem to remember a concert he did on MTV in the late 90s/early 00s and he did it as an encore

“Do it Again” by Steely Dan. Thought that was Santana for years.
“Gabrielle” by Ween. I thought that was a Spoon song, until I saw Ween do it live. And for the first minute, I thought “Oh cool. A Spoon cover”

I originally thought "Vehicle" by The Ides of March was performed by Blood, Sweat and Tears.

Ftr, I don't like either group.
