Rick Astley is the king of this category. Pre-YouTube, I always assumed he was black. It still blows my mind that that voice comes out of that dude every time I look at a picture of him.

Also, this very thread is where I found out that King Louie's voice from The Jungle Book was done by a white guy. Mind = blown.

I remember hearing this as a kid and I just assumed it was a black R&B group... never would have guessed it was sung by a teenaged white kid..

Staying Alive (Bee Gees) has a lot of good reaction videos on youtube of black folks being surprised that the Bee Gees are white.
