The Hum Goes on Forever by The Wonder Years. I don't see them talked about much here but I just got into them last year and this is there newest album and it's really good.

From Louisiana, lives in Germany. Builds his own instruments and recording equipment. It is very simple, but it's phenomenal background music. And he has a great sense of humor.
