I can't stand that MOTHERFLUCKING ginger Fred (yes I know his name is really ted) sheeran. But I never get tired of "Bad Habits".

I also like the bubonic plague more than Stink. But I absolutely love it's song "Who Knew".

Billy Joel gets a bad rap from music snobs.....mainly because of his success. He's a first rate songwriter and not half bad musician.

That's fine, but I don't go running home anxious to drop the needle on his vinyl. This thread was about music I don't normally listen to and he certainly fits the bill.

Damn, U2 looks so young. I had a friend that saw U2 at Ole Man River's in 1981. He said that they all had the same haircut, and that they had so few songs, they had to repeat 2 songs for their encore.

he's actually a fantastic musician. I saw him at Tulane's McAllister Auditorium around 1977. This is long before he was a sell-out, but he is one helluva piano player. It was his drummer's- Liberty Devito- birthday that day. Liberty graduated from Tulane, so Billy stopped the concert while the student body presented him with a big birthday cake and everybody sang Happy Birthday to him with Billy leading the chorus.

The performers with staying power know instinctively how to do things like that. It shows respect and appreciation for their audience. That's why he can still get big crowds almost 50 years after breaking through. Sane with Springsteen, Jimmy Buffett(RIP) and a few others
