Fooling Yourself is a banger

They miss Dennis DeYoung, though

Sounds like there's some bad blood between James Young and Dennis.

STYX, a great band with an array of different feels and vibes. Very diverse. This is a harder rocking number of theirs and one of my favorites.

Those Live from Daryl's house videos kick arse. I've watched the ones with Tommy Shaw, Billy Gibbons, Joe Walsh, Todd Rundgren, Kenny Loggins, and Cheap Trick MANY times.

The dude on the green guitar in Daryl's band is Shane Theriot, from Thibodaux. He was Daryl's musical director for several years. He's had an impressive career.

Young comes across like a petty, jealous prick.

There always seems to be one in every situation like this.

Never appreciated them.

My brother in law used to work with John Curulewski. Said he was a nice guy.

Tommy Shaw has one of those generational voices. Still singing songs in the original keys.

Crazy talented.

I'm sitting on this barstool talking like a damn fool with the 12 o'clock news blues.

Saw them at Billy Bob's in Ft. Worth a handful of years ago. We were about 20 ft. from the stage. They put on a great show.

Didn't even know they were performing that night. We just happened to be in town and bought tickets a few hours before the show. Definitely lucked out.

Same here. They sold out the Assembly Center a few years prior; Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush were the opening act for that show. I did not get tickets.

Their current and long time drummer, Todd Sucherman, is one of the best drummers around. Check him out if you feel so inclined. Absolute beast.

Saw them last month. Maybe the best live band I have ever seen... and they are all pushing 70 or older. Current lead singer has been with them way longer than Dennis and is just as good. Do yourself a favor and go see them live now. Almost every older band i have seen in past 5-10 yrs sounds nothing like they did back in the day but Styx is still great.
