RIP Neil.

When I'm reading or working around the house, I stream music from my server with foobar set for random play. This afternoon two Fly By Night songs played almost back-to-back. After the second, I thought to myself that I should pull out the album and listen to it. Glad I did, but then saw the news.

Naw, you don't. When I see something like what you said though, I take notice, because I've been there.
As long as you deal with yours, that's good. I struggle with mine at times. I've got family that help me too, and new things every day.

Then again, I am in Louisiana pretty often. You don[t work at the port or Domino Sugar do you?

Back in the early 70's purchased my first RUSH album " Bastille Day" turned my buddies on to it and have been a fan since. The world not the same to me without RUSH! Neil will be missed. He is the GOAT! Rest in peace! He had many challenges in his later days. His music will live on!

Listening to All the World's A Stage.

When I was young, he was my Elvis Presley and John Lennon. Profound influence.

I’ve been a fan since the late 70’s because my older brother introduced them to me. My son, who is now 22, came to a Rush show at the Woodlands years ago and that inspired him to take up playing the drums. Sad day for both of us because Rush, and Peart specifically, has been a big part of our lives as he continues to pursue his love of drumming and music.

Living in the Limelight the universal dream for those who wish to seem those who wish to be must put aside the alienation

All the world's indeed a stage we are merely players, performers and portrayers

RIP GOAT drummer and one of the ALL-TIME GREAT lyricists.

As a band geek that was always around percussionists, he was a larger than life figure to me. Just audibly “oh my Godded” at this news. R.I.P. Neil

Of all the odd things, I was just watching a short doc on a Rush tribute with a 40 steel drum orchestra that someone in my family took part in the recording of. Portnoy was playing the kit.
