Old drummer here.... Sad, he was incredible! The professor by God! Never had his quick chops as I was a heavy hitter when i played, but I was always amazed by how hard he hit those drums given the speed at which he did it.... Simply an amazing drummer

I was lucky enough to see them a couple of times, but not yet back then, smart enough to really fully appreciate them. Some of us are slow.
