m the opposite on this one.. dismissed "She's So Unusual" when it first came out, but came around to realize its a brilliant pop record.

That's me as well with a lot of music.

Hated it in the moment, came to enjoy or at least appreciate it in later years.

To answer the thread... Barry Manilow.

now 2-18 compilation cd’s. Didn’t buy Now 1. I remember I stopped before it got to 20.

Fun fact: they’re about to come out with now 115 next week

About $500 I spent over those years for them

Pretty sure I rode my bike to the store and bought the Millie Vanilli Blame it on the Rain tape when I was a kid, still not proud but at least at the time I thought they really sang that crap, haha.

John Denver
Monkees

Still like the music but it is like riding a Moped. It’s fun but you don’t want your friends to know.

I have over 1500 albums, 2000 45's, 500 CD's. I am not embarrassed by any of it. When I bought it then at that time there must gave been a good reason. Doesn't mean I still listen to it.

I don’t see the problem in letting your friends know about John Denver and the Monkees man I think there may be other issues here

I can’t think of any….but I’m a Boomer from the era when most music was pretty decent. Last CD I bought was an RL Burnside Cad and I didn’t know what I was missing until I listened to that CD a few times.

Wouldn't say I'm embarrassed about it, but I'm still regretting spending money on the first Fantomas album.
4 of my musical heroes made an album's worth of literal shite..

I actually bought that cd thinking it would be controversial and was hoping it would be out of print quickly.
I ended up donating it to goodwill or something...

As a friend told me this past week, "You own this. If streaming goes away tomorrow, you can still listen to what you want, when you want."

Yes..
