It's in the river center theater, not the main arena. This will be my first time going to the theater.

Well.... I like Mcmurtry better than Isbell. But listening to either for a month straight would be too much. Just saw Mcmurtry last week do an acoustic show and it was great.

I try catch a McMurtry show on the reg at continental club, his shows are great. I can't imagine him performing in an arena though.

I saw McMurtry for the first time at the Manship theater back in September, and he put on a hell of show. Really glad I get to see him again

I saw him several times last year. He doesn't say much on stage at all. If you are lucky he might talk a second about something John Prine said or did.

Isbell is playing a smaller venue in Dallas....1000 people maybe......so I talked to Mcmurtry after his show, he was sitting at the bar by himself sipping a topo chico. All he did was complain about his cough he had since november. I also happened to be hanging out with a guy that works for him and my brother. That guy told me Mcmurtry's cough didnt start til he knew he would be opening for Isbell.:
