There were a lot of good songs on there. I don't know why the real singers didn't just release it themselves.

I don't know if it is or not but I do remember the guy who actually did the vocals looked like the lead singer from Sexual Chocolate.

It’s far better than most would acknowledge.

Because the singers were just hired hands. Frank Farian, the producer, is the guy responsible for putting the group together.

Not gonna lie, on my playlist. It never fails to get people to pause and go, "Milli Vanilli?"

I have to reply, "Love will see you through."

Milli Vanilli is on my Pandora mix at work. That album was a banger.

A collection of well-produced synthetic pop tunes. So was bubble gum music in the 60’s.

because pop music isn't about the music; it's about the imagery and style. this is why pop bands are strategically constructed by producers who know how to sell these two things.

I still have the LP that I bought back in the day.

I cannot deny that they are pretty catchy songs, but the arrangements and harmonies sound totally dated.

There's a video on YT showing the real singers performing and Rob & Fab singing along as back up vocals and dancing. Not sure who came up with the stupid idea of false identity. The song performed was 'Girl You Know it's True'.
