99 Problems isn't Jay's biggest hit. Izzo, Empire State of Mind, Big Pimpin and Hard Knock Life are all bigger.
No disrespect to Ice-T, though. People know his acting and wife now, but in his prime, he was one of the people who started controversy in rap. Cop Killer was a huge, huge deal when it came out. People like him, NWA and 2 Live Crew were why Congress was trying to ban rap for a bit.
