Her voice is incredible.
Also the Alison Krauss and Union Station live album is absolutely fantastic.

If there is, indeed, a heaven with choirs of angels singing, they all sound like AK.

Yeah, that is from the live album. The album is so damn good. The entire band is supremely talented.
Eta: Actually that's from a different performance, but equally as awesome.

I have always thought when i make it to Heaven that when the angels sing they will all sound like her....soooo yeah she is good.

Not even close. I'm sure you share that view with millions. If angels don't sound like her, I don't want to go to heaven.
AK & US came here a few years ago and I wanted to go to the concert. I asked a friend of mine if he was interested and he immediately agreed. But then he said, "I'll just warn you. I have an almost unnatural attraction to Alison Krauss." I told him that there was nothing unnatural about that but I still worried that he'd be sitting next to me with one hand in his pocket for the entire show.

I know people love them some Keith Whitley, but her version of When You Say Nothing At All is my favorite. I think the song works better from that perspective too.

I saw her 1 time, at Big spring Jam in Huntsville,Al,they just had pretty standard bluegrass sound set -up.
When she did Steel Rails, and hit that final "Looking out ahead" that was the most amazing thing I have ever heard. The next day,it was claimed that it was heard miles away.I don't doubt it.
I have been paying attention to her,longer than most of you have been alive... since her days with The CoX Family,watching Bluegrass Block with My Mom on APT ( one of the few things My Mom and me could ever do together and appreciate}
Allison was a chubby teenager, and I was in my mid twenties, but I was in love with her..it was awkward.

Love her. Voice of an angel.
If you like that style of Bluegrass, check out Flatt Lonesome. Start with “You’re the One.”
Then try the O’connor Band, Ruby are you mad at your man?
Worth checking the videos of those. The singers are awful pretty.

I agree. The lyrics just sound off coming from a man.

Always liked her musicianship on this one: Run Away (Transatlantic Sessions)
Even when she backing up she's the real deal. Here she's harmonizing things up Sarah Jarosz and playing fiddle with Jerry Douglas who's also adding some backing vocals. That's a whole room full of talent. Seen her three times (once w/ Robert Plant) and would definitely make it a fourth.

He and Alison knocked this James Taylor cover outta the park.
Carolina in my mind

She was the highlight of the first Hangout fest.
