No list, but my favorite album of 2025 is Hayley Williams Ego Death at a Bachelorette Party. Not a bad song on the entire album. “True Believer” is one of the best songs I’ve heard in a long time.

Hon. Mention: Neko Case Neon Grey Midnight Green

There are a lot of albums mentioned in this thread that I never even knew came out and don't remember seeing any threads on them here. I need to catch up.

Two of my favorites are:

Panda Bear- Sinister Grift
Black Country New Road - Forever Howlong

Tier 1
Turnpike Troubadours - The Price of Admission - Just a fantastic release from the first notes. One of the best country albums of the last 10 years.
Lord Huron - Cosmic Selector Vol. 1 - Possibly their best entry yet, loved the full album take of it. Making a concept album is a lost art, but Schenider does his best to keep it alive. Great mix of catchy more pop-oriented tunes and more experimental pieces.
Daniel Donato - Horizons - Did not think I would like an album like this as much as I did. A fun listen, great for singles with some quality bangers, but also put it on and just it go. Great album.
Joe Stam Band - Little Crosses - In any other year this might have been my top album all by itself, but this was just packed. Anyone wanting the natural continuation of Heatland Rock - it's these guys. They keep going away from direct country with the last two releases. Stamm is a great songwriter. The record is full of great moments.

Tier 2
Midlake - A Bridge to Far - If anyone was waiting for a follow-up to Van Occupanther - this is it. That's all I need to say.
Lance Roark - Bad Reputation - Seems to be from the TT creative tree. Great sound that is equal parts country, heartland rock and a dash of Southern rock. I can't get it out of my head that this guy almost sounds like a country extension of 90's jangle pop/folk rock - Hootie/Counting Crows/etc. Solid songwriter to boot.
Colter Wall - Memories and Empties - His best and most composed album yet. Highly listenable, but he's still an acquired taste.
Fust - Big Ugly - Great alternative album. I still need to listen to Geese, but this was tops for me.

Tier 3
Myron Elkins - Nostalgia for Sale -
Nicholas Jamerson - The Narrow Way
The Wilder Blue - Still in the Runnin
Curtis Harding - Departures and Arrivals: The Adventures of Captain Curt
Tyler Childers - Snipe Hunter
Charley Crockett - Dollar a Day

Tier 4
Cody Jinks - In My Blood
Bonnie Prince Billy - "Purple Bird"
Leon Majcen - Making a Livin'
Jesse Daniel - Son of San Lorenzo
My Morning Jacket - is

So we have Geese and Goose? This is confusing.

One I love that I haven't seen mentioned is Futique by Biffy Clyro.

One is a solo album and the other is when the band is together.
