Favorite albums of 2019

Pretty solid year. Purple Mountains is the only album I would call a sure thing classic at this point, but a lot of albums I really liked, including a bunch I didn't even get to listing.
1. Purple Mountains- Purple Mountains
2. Vampire Weekend- Father of the Bride
3. Great Grandpa- Four of Arrows
4. (Sandy) Alex G- House of Sugar
5. Big Thief- Two Hands/U.F.O.F (hard to pick between the two, so I just lumped them together)
6. The Tallest Man on Earth- I Love You. It’s a Fever Dream
7. Avey Tare- Cows on Hourglass Pond
8. Pup- Morbid Stuff
9. Angel Olsen- All Mirrors
10. oso oso- basking in the glow
11. Mannequin Pussy- Patience
12. Charly Bliss- Young Enough
13. Lana Del Ray- Norman fricking Rockwell!
14. Field Medic- fade into the dawn
15. Sharon Van Etten- Remind Me Tomorrow

Lana del rey is the only new album I listened to - just tons of downbeat electronica and jazz and classical otherwise

Kind of an indie rock/alt country mix. The music isn’t super complex or anything, but it is catchy and the lyrics are fantastic.

Either I'm just out of touch with new stuff or this year does seem to be very uneventful. Fear Inoculum is the only one that I will remember.
