Nirvana: Unplugged in New York is a dumpster fire and clown show. Out of tune singing and playing; complete with additional crap musicians.

Ramones: T-Shirt band with very little talent.

Jimmy Page: The king of live slop guitar. Get over it.

Steely Dan: auditioning 5 guitarists for one solo on one song doesn't make you musical geniuses, it makes you pretentious douchebags. And Fagen can't sing.

Sublime: Fattest dead junkie ever.

Yeah, I think it's a pretty widely accepted sentiment from those in the business that Prince was the most talented popular musician ever, and it's not particularly close. In addition to his seemingly limitless catalog, he has proven time and again that he can take your stuff, and play it as well or better than you do.

Any song by Stevie Ray Vaughn sounds like wanking, to me.

The Who are not very good, either.

If you don’t like SRV you don’t like rock and roll. Prince was magic.

Worst band ever is Offspring

Others already listed I agree with
Neil Young
Eddie Vedder
Van Morrison
Phil Collins/genesis

Hendrix. That's not even how it goes. The National Anthem or a guitar. And tune that shite.

No don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he didn't have any talent. There's not a lot of musicians that are capable of playing all instruments on an album. (...Rundgren, Buckingham, Lennon, Townsend, McCartney, Windwood, Stevie Wonder, come to mind). I'm simply saying he wasn't a good song writer or guitarist. ...and IMO his music was unlistenable.

...and that solo from the Harrison tribute was absolutely horrible.

If you ever get a chance to meet one of the musicians you hold in high esteem, and they've worked or played with Prince, go ahead and run that line by them that he's very overrated as you put it. Please come back and let us know their response to that nonsense.

Ramones

To be fair, none of the original members really claimed that they had talent

Jimmy Page

Much better in the studio than he was live

Steely Dan

Yep...pretentious douchebags, especially Fagen....and that is the nice thing I can say

James Taylor
Not so much hate towards him, but all of his fans who think he's just ....remarkable. He is not.

I'll grant you Crow and Morissette might grudgingly give into Twitty, but Raitt and Vince Gill??? Gill is one of the finest guitarists around and Raitt underappreciated in my opinion

Van Morrison is iconic and great.
You have a problem. Astral Weeks and Tupelo Honey are classic.
