No. He is able to actually play an instrument and write his own songs, so I will give him credit for that.

I know. I didn't say he grew up in the burbs.

Preach.

Paisley ain't perfect but he can at least play a guitar. i really hate country post 2000 but tends to put out funny, enjoyable songs and seems to not be a douche bag.

Fair enough. He comes across as corny though. I don't like his music at all.

Really not that big of a stretch. For the style he plays, he’s easily one of the best country/rockabilly pickers on the planet.

He said one of the greatest guitar players of all time.

I’m an ‘80s-‘90s heavy metal guy, but Paisley’s “Alcohol” song is one of the GOAT country songs.

he is a pretty entertaining guy. I don't see how anyone could really dislike him.

I like his music and think he'd be cool to go fishing with and have a few beers.

Woah slow your roll. He's very good, but one of the greatest?

im not big into music but from what i have read and how some people i know who i respect their music knowledge, yes he is up there with the greats. His style of music just doesnt have the solos like rock or blues, but supposedly he can hang with the best of them.

corny i do agree with.

i have to imagine everytime he comes out with something like "i'm going to miss her," "alcohol," "celebrity," or "i'm still a guy" Kimberly slaps him and calls him a dumb caveman.

I don't get this comment. I would say most guitar players have a very similar sound in every song, it's their sound.

Yes, occasionally. I like a broad range of music.

or persona

DGAF really. I couldn't describe his persona if I wanted to, honestly. Don't pay that much attention to the dude.

Dude must get called that a LOT. My SO has his album "Moonshine in the Trunk". A solid half of that album is puns and play on words. "We're Outstanding in Our Field", "(Laughing all of the way to) The Riverbank". It's ridiculous.
