Rage, incubus, and The Black Keys would all have me driving to Baton Rouge for sure.

Man, after a 15 page thread like this there is no way it's going to live up to all the hype

Well according to their FB page, someone guessed right in the conversation regarding it...So someone just jot down all the bands and then narrow it down...Im to lazy.

If it's one of the bands on the fb page, then it will most likely be a letdown.

Deftones was mentioned twice in that list and it looks like they're the only one other than slipknot, tool and metallica who's been around the last 15 years and won a grammy that I can see.

Tool is way too big for the Varsity.

Look at last year's tour. They were selling out small arenas.

Yea I would put money on the Deftones

I honestly couldn't name a song by the Deftones so I'm a little underwhelmed

Just at a glance from the bands that were guessed, that have the criteria that Doc has given would be:

Deftones
Tool
Metallica
Slipknot

Has to be one of those 4....That being said....Slipknot would be the least favorite....

Deftones would make the most sense, considering they just released a record..

I would be very very very surprised if Tool or Metallica played a venue this size...

SO......Deftones it is...just my thoughts

the logical guess on there that fits the 15 years, and grammy winner would be deftones

Whew! If it's one of those 4 I don't have to even think about worrying about when tickets go on-sale. And I don't have to worry about keeping up with the thread,

Anybody that would think that they would play the varsity is a fricking moron...

They sell out 15k seat arenas inside of 20 min and they haven't released new material in 5yrs.
