Rage played at Tips in 1992 or 93 to about 20 people because it was snowing. The power went out for a minute and they played acoustic.
Though i outgrew their music shortly after, it was a pretty cool experience.

I bet that was amazing.

While I wouldn't say it was the best, I have one out of left field:
In 2005, I took my GF to Las Vegas. On Sunday, we went to the NASCAR race. The night before, we saw Celine Dion at Caesars. I was entertained.

1. Any of the 311 Day's I've attended.
2. Incubus HOB NOLA
3. Hugh Laurie Latrobe's NOLA. (Mainly because I was an engineer on it and got to hang out with Hugh, Irma Thomas, Tom Jones, Alan Toussaint, and a host of phenomenal musicians. Playing St. James Infirmary on upright during sound check the first day with Hugh and the band made my year.)
4. RATM VooDoo Fest
5. Clutch HOB NOLA

Impossible to pull out one show- I have been going since 1970 and have seen so many great shows through the years from Allman Bros. to Zappa. Now I can recall probably the worst show I ever went to- Fleetwood Crap! And I am not talking about the 'fake' Fleetwood Mac show at The Warehouse. I am talking about the show they did back in N.O. with Jeff Beck (headliner) and opening act (Aerosmith).

Saw Miles Davis in 1990, around 9 months before he died. It was incredible. He had the most "stage presence" of anyone I've ever seen. His band was also super tight.

Birmingham - April 2004 - "Musicology" tour, supposedly the last tour that he will ever perform his "greatest hits" in the U.S.
Best performance I've ever seen. Incredible.

Bayou country superfest was badass a couple years ago when i went. But I'm gonna have to say Eric Church at the texas club a few years ago. You can't beat a good concert at the watering hole.

311 Day 2010, Vegas. Crown it!
311 Day 2008, with the Transistor block.
Other than 311 Day shows, probably A Perfect Circle about 6 or so years ago. Insane show.
