Not sure if they qualify or it's just me, but The Heavy Eyes

dredg - They put out 3 fantastic albums in a row and just never found solid footing.
Aurora - unfortunately, the American music consumer is, on average, a character from Idiocracy. Fantastic pop music from Europe is ignored while the likes of Iggy Azalea and Cardi B are swimming in dollars like Scrooge McDuck.

Yep, and it's a damn shame. Downward is Heavenward is still one of my top 5 favorite albums of the 90s.

Listened to DiH for the first time last year and it blew me away. Fantastic album. Not sure I could fit it into my 90s top 5, but it wouldn’t be too far from it.

I saw The Jezabels in a tiny club in DC like 15 years ago and were like, "they are gonna hit it big next." They never did, but the band that opened for them did shortly after - Imagine Dragons.
Drive-By Truckers don't have a lack of popularity I don't think? I mean, the more outspoken Patterson Hood becomes I can see just getting burned out by him (a la Isbell), but they're about as popular as I think they could be.

I really enjoyed going to see Tripping Daisy during my time at A&M.

True was more thinking about their relevancy still today. I see they only have 400k monthly listeners a Month on Spotify. You’d think a group with all of those accolades would have much more still.
