Although Wally Palmer was the band's main lead singer and sang their biggest hit, Talking in Your Sleep, The Romantics' first hit single, What I Like About You was sung by drummer Jimmy Marinos.

Listened to their self titled LP last night.
Not a bad song on the album. I paid $2 for it at our local record store, and I don't think it ever had a stylus touch it before the first time I played it.
It is one of the prizes of my collection.

Peter Rivera from Rare Earth was my hero in my youth. So much so that as a drummer, I’ve always been a lead and backup singer. Several times as a three piece.
