Is Geddy considered the frontman? I don't. Rush may be the only band off the top of my head where they all seem equal and their egos werent' bigger than the other bandmates.

On a non-rock note, Bill Monroe was a notorious dick to his band members. That's why his Bluegrass Boys was a revolving door of musicians. They all hated him..

David Lee Frigin Roth. I think it would be hard to be around him for 5 minutes... But he is the best frontman of all time.

To be fair to Love, when you are dealing with a crazy person like Brian Wilson in the 1960's-70's you kind of evolve into it. He kept that band going despite having to deal with his two cousins constantly on the verge of self destruction.
