I don't know. I think it would be easier to pull off if it was animated, but the ceiling on a properly done live action Zelda movie is pretty high, IMHO.

Feel like this is going to be the next massive franchise that’ll start off strong and then they’ll run into the ground with countless spinoffs eventually. But I’d have to imagine the first 2-3 movies are going to PRINT money and hit it out of the park. Goldeneye and Ocarina of Time are the GOATs of the 90s.

Hopefully they’re going into this planning it as a trilogy. The LoZ world is way too big to try to cram that much into one movie and do it justice.
Probably would have been best suited for a multi-season TV series to be able to get enough depth to the story and various regions and races of Hyrule…especially for viewers who aren’t gamers and aren’t real familiar with the source material.

Agreed. It can both great story telling wise be visually stunning. I think they nailed the casting. Be interesting to see the production and costuming does. If they can nail the sets and visuals, we could be looking at our next big franchise.

Yeah i looked up their ages to see what they were going to go for timeline wise because their ages vary in so many games. Was a little surprised lol. But yeah they’re definitely not going the romantic route in any way. At least for now.
