I never understood the love for Zack. He was constantly selling his friends down the river to get ahead (bayside school song contest), or exploiting them in attempts to make a profit (screech's secret sauce/lucky beret, Hot Sundaes). For someone so good at scheming and plotting, he was a complete moron considering he barely graduated high school. He didn't posess any redeeming qualities other than that awesome cell phone he always had handy.
Bottom line= AC Slater > Zach Morris

He didn't try. He was a genius. Just look at his SAT score.
Also, if you pay attention to the show, everyone is a piece of shite at one time or another. If that was an actual group of friends in real life, they would be the type that would never talk to each other after high school.

i was watching the beauty pagent episode yesterday and the way he just spreads rumors about Slater just so screech would win just shows how much of a scumbag he really is. Who makes up that crap?

I think his ultimate a-hole move was kissing Lisa Turtle. Screech was his best friend, and despite the fact we knew Screech and Lisa would never go steady, you just don't cross that line.

I watched that one this morning as well. Slater tried to help Jesse. When she wouldn't listen, he turned to Zack for help. What did Zack do? Blow Slater off and refuse to believe Jesse was taking pills. Zack only cared when his career as managing the Hot Sundaes was in jeopordy.
