That's a moot point. Zack had Kelly, why would he even take a second look at Jesse (minus the Snow White and the Seven Dorks episode)? Slater only dated Jesse as a consolation prize for not winning the heart of Kelly. Hell, Slater didn't even take her shite. He wouldn't constantly say make sexist comments to her despite her femenist stance on everything.
ETA: Slater and Jesse were better parents to their kid Lisa than Zack and Kelly were with Screech.
